Indication:

Thermoskin’s Patella Stabiliser is a low profile Thermal knee support useful in the treatment of Patella Dislocation, Patella Tracking Disorders and Chondromalacia.

• Low profile, contoured shaped design allows for greater movement during the flexion- extension phase.

• Adjustable straps provide improved locking strength for patella instability.

• Flexible internal buttress provides for correct positioning and control of patella during vertical and horizontal tracking.

A flexible internal support provides correct positioning and control of the patella during movement. This can be adjusted dependent on the type of instability experienced and can be worn before, during or after exercise for maximum comfort and recovery.

Application:

	STEP 1: Position the buttress inside the support where stability is required e.g. medially or laterally.
	STEP 2: Position the support with the patella cut out over the knee cap and the sew-in label at the top of the product.
	STEP 3: Wrap the single strap behind the knee and attach, next to the patella cut out.
	STEP 4: Wrap the lower strap of the two behind the upper calf and attach just below the knee cap and in line with the lower section of the main body of the support.
	STEP 5: Wrap the upper strap of the two behind the lower hamstring and attach above the knee cap. Re-adjust the tension on the middle single strap accordingly.

Measurement:
		* Measure the circumference around the kneecap in a standing position.

• Patellofemoral Pain (chondromalacia)

• Patella Dislocation

• Patella Tracking Instability

• Patella Lateral Subluxation

• Patella Lateral Tilt
