We are a DrillDance club located in the North Eastern suburbs of South Australia. We currently have 25 competing members ranging in ages from 6 to 26. We have been running as a club for four years, each year competing and gaining placings at all National Championships.
Value to the Community
DrillDance is a team sport that fosters friendship and teamwork along with promoting discipline and good posture. It also encourages creativity and concentration. We are the only team based in the North Eastern suburbs and offer a different sport to the area.
Why the funds are needed
We are soon commencing our 2016/2017 season and as such need the funds to assist in costuming our three teams. As we will be travelling interstate to complete in the National Championships in Sydney next April the cost for parents and families is already high, but the amount of costuming required for three teams to compete would be greatly assisted by this funding.
