Value to the Community

Bute is well known in the Yorke Peninsula and has positive relationships with opposing clubs. The club provides a safe, family friendly environment where players, both junior and senior are encouraged to participate in activities both on and of the field. Each home game sees an army of members volunteering as officials, coaches, team support and catering throughout the day, reflecting the commitment of the community to the future of the Bute Netball Club as an affiliate Club of Bute Sporting Club. Bute Netball Club through professional management aims to provide quality experiences for all people playing, umpiring, coaching, volunteering and spectating. Our focus is to be a consistently top performing Sporting Club in the Yorke Peninsula region, fostering excellence through continuous growth and development of netball.

Why the funds are needed

In 2015 our club upgraded to a new style of uniform (each player purchased their own). For our youngest team (H Grade), we currently loan them a uniform to keep costs to a minimum and are currently using the older style. We seek to obtain funding to support the purchase of new uniforms for our junior loans supply, which would assist in making our newest and next generation of netballers feel more inclusive as part of the club. The uniforms cost $70 each and we would require 11 in stock at various sizes (total $770).
