About Byron Bay table Tennis Club

We are a pretty informal club, but one with loads of passion for the sport. We started in 1999, from humble beginnings. Being in a tourist town, we invite people from all walks of life to join in; they might be young or old, but our current competition team is full of over 50's. Over the years there would have been over 300 try it out - and now there is a dedicated core of about 20 players.

Value to the Community

We provide an indoor sporting alternative for local people at night (compared with the usual tourist related activities). People of all abilities can join in and then there is also competition play for the more serious.

Why the funds are needed

We are a bit of a rabble at competitions, as we don't have uniforms for our team members. I've come up with what they are to look like....now to produce them and allow our team to shine at the winners' podium!
