About Centrals Masters Softball Club

Our Centrals Masters Softball Club was to formed 1987 to enable older women to play together socially & competitively in Masters Competitions locally as well as Australia Wide. We have approx. 30 + members not only from within our local competition(Central Districts Softball Association), but also members from the Riverland & a couple of Interstate players. Our Teams compete in the Australian Masters Games held every 2nd year as well as Alice Springs Masters games held also every second year. It's a fantastic opportunity for our older girls to get together & play softball.

Value to the Community

As the majority of our players are over 50 years of age, Masters competition creates a fantastic opportunity for our players to still play the sport that they love & get together socially for tournaments regardless of their own skill level, we promote our Club as a friendly club and we are not about what skills you may or may not possess, but what you bring to our club and teams. We have won many gold/Silver & Bronze medals over many years, competing in many tournaments.

Why the funds are needed

The funds would enable us to refurbish our equipment, which some of it is quite old. especially our kit bags($140.00 each) & new bats cost an average of $300 upwards so any funding would be great.
