About Collingwood City Football Club

Collingwood City Football Club (FC) is a vibrant community based club with a rich history in the City of Yarra , with the first official game played in the Industrial and Amateur League as Clifton Hill YCW. Over the years our club has tasted success in various cup competitions and Saturday provincial league titles as part of our association with the Football Federation of Victoria (FFV). We are firmly embedded in the local Richmond community and our home ground is Kevin Bartlett Reserve. Currently we have nearly 600 enrolled players from U6/7 to our Senior team.

Value to the Community

The club runs programs for players with special needs and those that are vision impaired. This allows those players, who may not suit the a formalised team structure to train and play in a caring and nurturing environment. The club also sends coaching staff into the Richmond housing estate to run soccer clinics and engage local girls and boys, many who would not otherwise have the opportunity to play formalised sports. The aim is to build a relationship with the kids and hopefully get them involved into a local club. We are also a hub for expatriots in our Senior, Reserve, and Thirds side. CCFC provides a home away from home and a community for those who are new to Australia combined with a sport that brings the world together.

Why the funds are needed

We have added a Thirds team this year and are looking to purchase twenty new uniforms this year as we only have one stripe to play in for both home and away fixtures for the Senior and Reserve sides. A second kit would allow for longer life of the jersey as they are not being washed every week from constant use, as well as giving the Thirds their own kit to play in. Jersey = $28.60 per unit Shorts = $16.90 per unit Socks = $8.58 per unit Crest/sponsor logo = $4.00 per unit Numbering = $5.00 per unit GST = $117.76
