About Critters Cup - Internal U10 Program

The Critters Cup competition is a small sided, game based competition that is played internally at the club each week. It is an excellent entry point for new participants. The modified games are played on smaller sized pitches. Being local means that families that possibly cannot afford an external competition do not need to travel as far to play and the costs are heavily reduced. This is the first year of the competition, we currently have 28 participants, with numbers increasing weekly.

Value to the Community

As Melton is a low socio economic area, helping to keep costs minimal for families is of high priority. The funding will allow the club to purchase tops for our participants which will help make them feel a part of a team. Creating a low cost alternative for families is of great benefit to the community as it enables those that may not have the funds for their children to play a sport become involved.

Why the funds are needed

We hope to be able to purchase tops for the participants that will be kept by the club into the future, helping to keep costs low for as long as possible. The ability to purchase the tops in a variety of sizing and team colours will enable the club to loan the tops to participants, aiding in achieving a team bond that would otherwise not be possible.
