With a total pool of $10,000 available plus a gift of Thermoskin’s Plantar FXT Calf Socks, 2016 winners will be decided upon by a panel of 4 judges including Melanie Wright (Australian Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder in Swimming), Sharelle McMahon (former Australian Netballer), Brett Emerton (ex-Socceroo) and Thermoskin CEO Matthew Symington.

Shortlisted entries will be based on quality of application, why the funds are needed, value to the community/individual, and number of votes received by the public, so start voting now and make your contribution!

About Dariah porter

Dariah started online hockey a little over 12 months ago she has now been chosen to represent Tasmania in the junior women's olympics.

Value to the Individual

Dariah loves playing in a team sport that accepts her for who she is, she would never stop playing for any reason, even injury. Dariah has never been given an opportunity like this before and it is her last year as a junior and wants to make the most of it,

Why the funds are needed

The gear that dariah uses was given to her, in order for her to play all her gear needs replacing as it does not meet insurance standards. She also needs to pay for flights and accomodation later this year when she plays in the junior women's Olympics in moe Victoria. She also doe not have a uniform and needs to purchase this as well or she cannot play.
