About Forrestdale little athletics
We are a small group of 21 kids that so little athletics . We train at Forrestdale primary school twice a week. We then compete against other clubs on Saturday mornings . We are Into our third year and going strongly . Are kids range from 5 to 14. We do long jump , high jump , discus, shot put , javelin , hurdles , turbo javelin and running. We are run solely by volunteers and are a non for profit group
Value to the Community
We like to bring sportsman ship and teach the kids teamwork. We like them to have fun while competing not only against themselves but other athletes. We are strong on being a team and supporting each other and building each other up while also trying to improve themselves each week with personal bests .
Why the funds are needed
We need new sporting equipment . We are using old hurdles from an old club . These are falling apart . As the team grows we are also needing more shot puts , discus, javelin and turbo javelin.
