About Lower Clarence Netball Association NetSetGo

The Lower Clarence Netball NetSetGo is running this year for the first time in the history of the club! It kicked off this weekend Saturday 30th April with an overwhelming 44 participants. NetSetGo is an entry level program designed for 5-7 years olds. The program is about fun, and teaching the fundamental skills of netball. We are running the program for 8 weeks in Maclean on Saturdays at 1030am.

Value to the Community

By introducing this program we are encouraging kids to be involved in sport. These kids are our future and keeps them off the streets, exercising, eating well and setting a great example within the community and encouraging others to get involved in sport.

Why the funds are needed

As I mentioned, i have not received any equipment to run this program. But as you can see the program is very wirthwhile with 44 registered participants. This now creats 4 potential netball teams in the future. I have had to borrow all of the equipment from a local club and a local school as well as modify the program to allow the lack of equipment. If we are succesful in teceiving this grant the money will be spent to.purchase- Size 4 netballs Small.netball rings Bean bags for passing and catching drills Skipping ropes Medicine balls Ladders Hoola hoops Sodt balls for training
