With a total pool of $10,000 available plus a gift of Thermoskin’s Plantar FXT Calf Socks, 2016 winners will be decided upon by a panel of 4 judges including Melanie Wright (Australian Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder in Swimming), Sharelle McMahon (former Australian Netballer), Brett Emerton (ex-Socceroo) and Thermoskin CEO Matthew Symington.

Shortlisted entries will be based on quality of application, why the funds are needed, value to the community/individual, and number of votes received by the public, so start voting now and make your contribution!

About Melton City Runners

Melton City Runners is a recreational running club based of the City of Melton. We currently have around 200 unoffical members through our community Facebook page. We are closely linked to Melton Little Athletics and in the process of becomming afflitated with Athletics Vicotria in order to particate in their events. Our year of conception was early 2015.

Value to the Community

We are Melton's only senior athletics group giving members of the community an opportunity to particicpate in recreational road running, trail running and athletic competions. Our group contains level 1 & 2 athletics coaches who give their time to provided support to our members free of charge. We promote a heathly lvinng within the City oif Melton and encourage all ability levels to partake in regualr physical acitivity.

Why the funds are needed

- First Aid Kit - Large Drink container - Putting two more coaches through level 1 coaching courses - Costs involved in upkeep of club wesbsite ( - not yet active)
