About Mobrup Junior Polocrosse Team
We have been incpororated since the 50s We have only just started up the Polocrosse section of our club again after many years in recess. We are only small but are BIG in spirit, we have roughly 25 members, and about 10 of them are junior members. So we have 1 and a half Junior polocrosse teams!! BUM TO HEAD END TO END HORSES AND POLOX STICK ARE A KIDS BEST FRIEND
Value to the Community
We have held for 57 years straight a riding school for all abilities and ages. We accept anyone from near and far to come along to our once a year riding school and we would now like to start involving the polocrosse a lot more in the wider community. We will hold regular practice sessions, fund raising days, and carnivals where possible. Any one is welcome from far and wide to come and have a go at polox, we believe this is a benefit to the wider community as there is nothing like a child or adult having a go at something NEW!!
Why the funds are needed
We would like to host our first ever tournament this year in May We are in desperate need of all equipment related to running the polocrosse tournament BALLS, whilsts, umpire bibs, office equipment, score sheets, stationary, goal posts etc
