About North Launceston Amazonz Netball Club

North Launceston Amazonz Netball Club is located in Launceston in Northern Tasmania. The club started in 2005 with one senior team and has grown rapidly 10 years later to be one of the biggest family friendly all inclusive netball clubs in our Association. We have over 175 netballers registered and participating in 3 grassroots NetSetGo teams, 13 junior teams and 7 senior teams.

Value to the Community

Our club has grown to be known asa family friendly fun inclusive club for girls and boys. Our members are volunteers and are passionate about providing a positive safe environment for netball. With senior experienced players providing coaching and assistance to juniors. We work hard to hold various fundraising events to help with increased costs. We recently delivered 6000 phonebooks to raise money for our club.

Why the funds are needed

With the rapid increase in participation at our Club means we need to purchase more balls, ball storage bags and team first aid kits just to name some examples. Balls cost $40 each x 16 balls =$640, price via Gilbert Bags cost $25 each x5 =$100, price via Hart Sports Basic First Aid Kits $30 each x 10 junior teams = $300, price via Hart Sports.
