About Oran Park Rugby League Football Club
OPRLFC was started 2 years ago with this yr being the 3rd. Being a new club we only have 29 kids playing for the year as all other clubs from within the area are fully established with numerous teams but being a new suburb we are growing slowly Last week seen us take our new home ground at Oran Park and to have home games to get the name out there for all within the new area will require a lot of equipment to enable this to happen. Our team are uner6 7 and 8's and we are a small community little family group. We would love To be able to give the kids home games and see the excitement in there little faces this year And many more to come as we grow as a community and family within rugby league.
Value to the Community
We bring a new family orientated club to an area which is still still growing and will grow rapidly throughout the coming years as more houses and families build within the area. Being our 3rd year a lot of people from the community still arnt aware that we exist even after numerous advertising throughout the year. We are building a club within an area that is restricted to boundaries and wanting all within the area to be able to know what is available for there children and for the children to be able to enjoy the sport and become part of the small family community and help all other new sponsor that are also new to the community in getting the names out there to grow as a community
Why the funds are needed
Our funding was fantastic this year and all funds that are required for the year are listed below Uniforms for the kids 5000k includes there shorts socks jersey training shirt and jumper 6k for family members to purchase at cost club jumpers and t shirts Still required - double fridge for new ground 1500 Freezer 350.00 Line marker 2500.00 Tackle posts 4000.00 Training equipment 1500.00 Main training facilities throughout the season 500.00 BBQ 700.00 Esky 400.00 Marquees 2500.00 And various other items that will be required now we have our home field
