About Reservoir Colts Junior Football Club

Reservoir Colts Junior Football Club have expanded from one team two years ago to three teams in 2016 at U9, U12 and U14 level. All teams are at full capacity and including AusKick have over 100 children involved who live across the northern metropolitan suburbs of Melbourne.

Value to the Community

This club brings the local community together. We have a number of children from indigenous and other ethnic groups that are not ordinarily well represented in the AFL community. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club who welcomes anybody who loves playing AFL. We recognise that not everyone can easily afford the costs of playing so extend generous payment plans to families who need it. Our philosophy is to coach children who will play hard but fair, will accept the umpires decision, and to respect all involved with the game.

Why the funds are needed

The money will be used to build an electronic scoreboard for the club. We have a dilapidated structure that badly needs updating and we are hoping that this grant will lead to a more modern structure that will attract players to the club, We would be pleased to have Thermoskin branding placed somewhere on the scoreboard should we be successful
