With a total pool of $10,000 available plus a gift of Thermoskin’s Plantar FXT Calf Socks, 2016 winners will be decided upon by a panel of 4 judges including Melanie Wright (Australian Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder in Swimming), Sharelle McMahon (former Australian Netballer), Brett Emerton (ex-Socceroo) and Thermoskin CEO Matthew Symington.

Shortlisted entries will be based on quality of application, why the funds are needed, value to the community/individual, and number of votes received by the public, so start voting now and make your contribution!

About RLSSQ Junior Lifeguards

Junior lifeguard program at The Plantation Swimming School( Gumdale) Started this year in 2016. We have 15 Children who come. The club is a Training ground for the children to learn the skills of Liefsaving and Lifesaving sport.

Value to the Community

Pool Lifesaving sport is very inclusive, children from a variety of backgrounds and abilities can take part. It is an activity that can encourage children who are bored of everyday Swimming lessons to stay in sport.Not only do the children learn Team work, but they also learn how to save thier own lives and the lifes of others.

Why the funds are needed
