Junior lifeguard program at The Plantation Swimming School( Gumdale) Started this year in 2016. We have 15 Children who come. The club is a Training ground for the children to learn the skills of Liefsaving and Lifesaving sport.
Value to the Community
Pool Lifesaving sport is very inclusive, children from a variety of backgrounds and abilities can take part. It is an activity that can encourage children who are bored of everyday Swimming lessons to stay in sport. Not only do the children learn Team work, but they also learn how to save thier own lives and the lifes of others.
Why the funds are needed
Equipment for Lifesaving sport is very expensive, so all funding would be spent on that . Junior Obstacle @ 99.50 x 6 = $597 Lifesaving Rescue Tube Yellow 37”@ $73.41 x 5 = $367.05 New Water Rescue Training Manikin @ $175 New Water RescueCompetitionManikin @ $298
