About Sarina & District BMX Club

BMX is one of the fastest growing sport in Queensland and Australia. It is the gateway for many kids who take an interest in either BMX riding or motorcross riding. Our club is part of the Mackay Region which also hosts 2 other clubs and we compete on a weekly basis against our fellow clubs. Our club also hosts many carnivals including the upcoming Queensland Country Titles in June 2016. Our club commenced in the early 1990 with the view to encourage the participation of all interested people in the sport of BMX and to promote the sport of Bicycle Motocross to engender greater community awareness

Value to the Individual

Like many within our sport or see our sport, you quickly discovered that you have fallen in love with this sport - furious on track action, racy colours, 5yo sprockets with oversize helmets trying to look like Kamakazi, slightly rotund officials in red t-shirts, and the resilient of the sport through our members. The sport influences our lives here in Sarina as we commit many hours to ensure our track is of a high standard, to running the weekly races and helping the little ones in their first race.

Why the funds are needed

The funds are needed for our club to be able to provide our members and new members to the club with a water bottle. Many of our kids forget their water bottle and to have the ability to have water bottles at the clubhouse for the kids utilise would ensure our kids are fully hydrated and shows our club cares about the safety of our members. The water bottle would also promote the club and you as a sponsor of these water bottles.
