Warwick womens soccer is a small team of dedicated players, playing in the Toowoomba Regional Comp. They have gone from only scoring 1 goal in their first season to winning 4 of their first 5 games this, their third year. They play and train in one of the coldest regions in Queensland and would love warm gear to protect them from injury. They train twice a week and are a very dedicated team, One of their new players winning a trip to Germany in a football competition in Inverall last year. She heads to Germany in June for a. month and will be very badly missed by the team. The girls range in age from 15 to 40 and have worked extremely hard to improve their skills. Over the last three years. Winning this Thermoskin gear would be a terrific boost for the team.
Value to the Community
The Warwick Womens Soccer is a wonderful role model for all girls young and old. They have proven over three years that hard work and dedication pay results. They also encourage girls of any age to join a sporting team and get active. This is so important in an erra when so many girls give up sport once leaving school.
Why the funds are needed
Training gear for winter nights in Warwicks zero temperatures is all the girls need and would be very much appreciated.
